Privacy notice.
SAVVY Creator Agency (“SAVVY”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, introduce yourself as a creator or talent, contact us as a brand, or work with us, and what we do with it.
01Who is responsible for your information
The organisation responsible for the information described in this notice is SAVVYCREATORAGENCY LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17498597), trading as SAVVY Creator Agency. Our registered office is Studio 9, 50-54 St. Pauls Square, Birmingham, England, B3 1QS. Our contact email is hello@savvycreatoragency.co.uk.
If you have a privacy question or want to exercise a right, email us using the address above.
02Information we collect
When you introduce yourself as a creator or talent, we may collect your name, contact details, general location, social media handles, portfolio or website links, the information you put in your application, your interests and goals, and notes about our conversations and review of your work. If you choose to share photos, videos or a portfolio, those may include your image, voice and professional work.
When a brand or other business contacts us, we may collect the contact person’s name, role, work contact details, organisation, brief, budget, timing and communications with us. If we work together, we may also hold details needed to arrange and manage a campaign, contract, payment and reporting.
When you use our website or contact us, we may receive your message and basic technical information needed to operate and secure the site. Any optional analytics or marketing cookies are described under Cookies and advertising tools and, where required, controlled through a cookie choice.
Please do not send sensitive information such as health details, identity documents or bank details in an initial application unless we specifically ask for them through an appropriate process. If we later need additional information for a particular engagement, we will explain why at that point.
03How and why we use it
Reviewing introductions and enquiries. We use the details you submit to review your work or brief, respond to you, and decide whether there may be a suitable conversation or opportunity. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running the agency and responding to people who contact us. Where you ask us to take steps towards a particular agreement, we may also rely on steps before entering a contract.
Running relationships and campaigns. If we agree to work together, we use relevant information to arrange introductions, manage briefs, communicate, negotiate and carry out our agreement. Our lawful basis is performance of a contract or steps before one; for business contact details of people acting for an organisation, we may rely on legitimate interests.
Records and compliance. We keep records required for accounting, tax, dispute handling and legal compliance. Our lawful bases are legal obligation where one applies and legitimate interests in keeping appropriate business records.
News and general updates. If we offer a newsletter or general marketing messages, we will ask for a separate, optional choice where required. You can unsubscribe at any time. Applying to SAVVY does not itself sign you up for marketing.
We do not make solely automated decisions about whether to represent or work with you. A person reviews introductions and enquiries.
04Where information comes from
Most information comes from you. If you provide a public social media or portfolio link, we may look at the material available there to understand your work. We may also receive information from a person who introduces you to us or from public business information when responding to a brand enquiry. If we begin discussing a relationship, we may ask you to confirm that information is accurate.
05Who we share information with
Only people who need the information for the purposes above should have access, including SAVVY team members and service providers operating our website, email, forms, workflow automation and CRM. Creator and talent applications are collected through a Zoho Bigin form on our Talent page and stored in our Zoho Bigin account. Notes sent through the Contact page and briefs sent through the Brands page are delivered by email to our own mailbox, which is provided by Zoho Mail; the website does not keep a copy. The website, and the service that passes those two forms on to our mailbox, are hosted by Vercel. We use ClickUp to organise contacts and follow-up. These suppliers process relevant information to provide their services to us under their applicable terms.
We will discuss any proposed brand introduction with the relevant creator or talent before sharing non-public application details or portfolio materials with a brand. We may share appropriate information with professional advisers, accountants, insurers or public authorities when necessary. We do not sell your personal information.
06International processing
Our Zoho Mail and Zoho Bigin accounts are held on Zoho’s European service. Some suppliers, including Vercel, which hosts the website, and ClickUp, may process or access information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where UK law requires a safeguard for an international transfer, we use the applicable supplier arrangements and appropriate legal transfer mechanism. Contact us if you would like more information about the safeguards relevant to your information.
07Cookies and advertising tools
At present this website does not use analytics or advertising tools, and our own pages do not set cookies. The application form on our Talent page is provided by Zoho: when that form loads, Zoho sets a technical cookie that its service needs to deliver the form and receive your application. It is not used for advertising.
We intend to add analytics and advertising tools, including Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, and possibly others, to understand how the site is used and to measure and show our advertising. They are not active yet. Before any of them is switched on, the site will ask for your choice, no analytics or advertising cookie will be set unless you agree, and this section will list each tool with what it does, who provides it and how long its cookies last. You will be able to change your choice at any time.
08How long we keep information
We keep an initial introduction or enquiry for up to 12 months after our last meaningful contact if we do not go on to work together, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we need it for a specific legal reason. If you join an agreed talent or brand relationship, we keep the information needed during that relationship. We retain necessary contractual, invoice and financial records for up to six years afterwards where appropriate for legal, accounting or dispute purposes. General marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe or we stop using that list, with a minimal suppression record where needed to honour your choice.
We securely delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.
09Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to see your information, correct it, have it erased, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive a portable copy of information you provided. You can withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis for a particular use. These rights are not absolute, and we will explain if an exception applies. Contact hello@savvycreatoragency.co.uk to make a request.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you are unhappy with how we handle your information. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
10Children
SAVVY works only with people aged 18 or over. We do not accept applications from anyone under 18 and do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe someone under 18 has sent us their details, please contact us at hello@savvycreatoragency.co.uk and we will delete them.
11Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as our services and suppliers change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If we make a significant change affecting information we already hold, we will take appropriate steps to tell the people affected.
